Day 3

Fly to Casablanca. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel  in Casablanca.

Mid morning your train departs for Fez, you are met on arrival and taken to the Palais Jamai. Fez is famous for its winding Medina (old town) and colourful souks (markets). You truly feel in an exotic location whilst in Fez.

Today you go by foot into the colourful Medina and Souks of Fez, including a visit to the world famous leather tanneries. The afternoon is free to relax or your own excursions.

Day 6

A day trip from Fez by road to the Old Moorsh city of Meknes. Here you can wander through the Medina, explore the remains of Roman Volubilis and visit the holy city of Mouley Idriss before returning to your Hotel in Fes.

Depart on the train to Rabat arriving in time to explore the Kasbah des Ondaias in this Imperial city. You spend the night at. the five star Hilton.

A long day's journey to Marrakech arriving at your hotel late afternoon. Tonight you can visit the Djemaa al Fnaa which come alive at sunset with street entertainers such as snake charmers and food stalls. The best place to soak up the atmosphere is on one of the terraces of the cafes around the square.

 

 

Day 7

Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities of medieval Morocco is set in a stunning landscape with the snow-capped High Atlas the ever present background to the old city walls and palm trees. Within Marrakech there is a modern part which is lively with good restaurants but the real attraction is the mysterious labyrinth of the ancient Medina with mosques, souks and fantastic shopping. The best things to buy here are leather goods, carpets, pottery, wood carving and baskets not forgetting slippers, tea and spices; we recommend plenty of space in your bags!

Day 8

Depart for Marrakech airport and your return flight back home.
